Event introduction

Seven Dimensions organized and executed The Working Woman Day Festival under the title "Her Work, Our Success" to draw attention to the success stories of women business owners, and to shed light on the importance of women's work in the development of the family, society and country both socially and economically.
The festival day co-incided with the interntional women day which was on 8/3/2008. The festival was patronaged by The Minister of Culture, H.E. Ms Nancy Bakeer, and the key speaker and guest of honor was Ms. Haifa Albasheer.

The objectives

1. To celebrate the role and importance of the work of women.
   
2. To shed ligh on the role of the working women in development.
   
3. To promote the woman owned businesses.
   
4. To draw attention to the working women success stories.
   
5. To promote the women fashion designers of Jordan
   

The schedule

The event was organized on 8/3/2008 in Radison Sas hotel of Amman - Jordan and lasted for one day. It included the following activities:

1. The cermony official opening with a word from organizers and a briefing by Ms Haifa Albasheer, followed by a success story told by Ms. Luma AlMasri.
   
2. Fashion Show through time where traditional, modernized traditional, modern fancy dresses where presented including handmade jewelry collection
   
3. The fashion show ended with a traditional Dabkeh from our friends the youngsters of Jerusalem Palestinian Folklore Team.
   
4. An exhibition for the women owned businesses was opend for the public
   
5. The exceptional working woman reward was announced and the winner was Ms. Ibtisam Shanti
